DescriptionHandwritten letter from Esther Garman to Kathleen Garman. Esther writes that everyone is keen to hear from Kathleen and that she had a lovely journey. Esther explains some of the household events, including the 'blossoming' of one member of the house staff in Kathleen's absence. Esther states that she does not like her complacency. She writes that she has been cooking and working in the kitchen of the house for much of the time and that Theo is coming over to the house for dinner the next day. Esther apologises for the 'pedestrian' letter - she explains that her Sunday morning lie in was interrupted by Epstein, Jackie Epstein and the dog Frisky wanting their breakfasts. Esther closes by asking Kathleen for a reply or a postcard.
